SLAVOMIRS MROJEK "IN THE OPEN SEA"

The show has been renewed with support from the Latvian cultural Centre in Birmingham. Directed by Ingmars Caklais, the show makes abundant use of various elements of theatrical language. The choreographer Alda Skrastina (Latvia) has staged not only dancing, but also various elements of choreography, which complements the stage setting perfectly, as well as outfits created by Gunta Larmane and Selina Briezkalne. A special role in the show is acquired by cinematic elements created by video artist Asatuurs Keim and augmented by the little Theatre in Birmingham, which awakens conflicting feelings in viewers
